October 29, 2026

Benefits designed to support team members through life’s changing needs.

Annual Enrollment is open through Sunday, Nov. 1. Visit texaschildrensbenefits.org to explore your options and choose benefits that support you and those who matter most.

What’s new for 2027

  • More support for your education. Beginning Jan. 1, Tuition Assistance increases from $2,500 to $5,250 annually for full-time team members and from $1,500 to $2,625 for part-time team members. The program also expands to cover job-related certifications.
  • Increased dependent care support. Texas Children’s contribution to the Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) increases from $260 to $1,000.
  • Simpler Short-Term Disability enrollment. Evidence of Insurability is no longer required to enroll.
  • Medical, dental and pharmacy updates. Medical and dental plans have minimal rate increases, and specialty pharmacy coverage is enhanced through Texas Children’s Specialty Pharmacy.
  • New financial resources. Fidelity’s Goal Booster helps you build emergency savings, while Fidelity-supported Medicare Services helps team members approaching retirement understand and compare Medicare options.
  • Easier enrollment. Enroll from your mobile device and get support from Emma Enroll Pro, your 24/7 digital benefits advisor, in English or Spanish.
  • Same benefit, new name. My Day becomes Floating Holiday in Kronos on Jan. 1.
  • Coming soon: A back-up childcare option for team members.

These are just a few highlights. Review What’s New for 2027 for additional benefit updates and details about the changes outlined above.

Two steps to remember
Complete your annual tobacco attestation to confirm your tobacco-free status and avoid a surcharge. FSAs must be re-elected each year if you want to participate.
